Adejectives demostratives (Adjetivos demostrativos)

Se utilizan para indicar la ubicación de las cosas, están en singular (this and these) y plural (that and those), y nos indican la lejanía de las cosas (this and these nos indica que el objeto está a la mano, that and those indica que están un poco más lejos).

En las oraciones se emplean de la siguiente manera:

This flower is beautiful. Esta flor es hermosa.


This car is dirty. Este automóvil está sucio.

That house is expensive. Aquella casa es costosa.

That dog is bad. Aquel perro es malo.

These apples are cheap. Estas manzanas son baratas.

These pencils are in the box. Estos lápices están en la caja.

Those stars are in the sky. Aquellas estrellas están en el cielo.

Those boys are my friends. Aquellos niños son mis amigos.

1.- Short adjectives add er to comparatives and est to superlative form.

2.- Short adjectives ending in e only add r or st.
late/later/(the) latest

3.- Short adjectives ending in y, change latter y for i and add er/est.
ugly/uglier/ugliest
happy/happier/happiest

5.- Long adjectives add more/most.

1 -. Adjetivos cortos agregar er para comparativos y est a la forma superlativa.

2 -. Adjetivos cortos terminados en e sólo añadir o st r.
